Notes from an Autumn Walk
A soft knit, a long coat and the colours I want to wear all season.

Autumn is the season when getting dressed feels like a conversation with the weather. Layers come back. Textures matter again. And the colour palette practically chooses itself.
On my walk this week I made a small list of what the trees were wearing: camel, rust, honey, a deep olive, and that particular cream of morning fog. It turns out that's almost exactly what I want in my wardrobe right now.
My uniform for the next few weeks: a soft oversized knit, a long coat in a warm neutral, straight trousers, and comfortable leather boots that can walk all afternoon. One gold detail — a ring, a chain, a buckle — is enough.
The trick is to keep everything in the same warm family, so any piece works with any other. Getting dressed becomes quick, and somehow you look more put together with less effort.
Take a walk this weekend and notice the colours. Then open your wardrobe. You might already own the perfect autumn.
